Welcome to Carlo Creek Lodge
12 Miles South of Denali National Park

mainlodge

This lodge was homesteaded in 1959 by the Stoepler family while carving out a life in the Alaskan wilderness. Since homestead days we have refurbished the cabins and added running water and electricity without compromising the historical aspects.

The 32 wooded acres are bordered by beautiful Carlo Creek, Nenana River, and Denali National Park. Enjoy a stay in one of the cozy cabins or the charming campground. For guests planning to stay in the area more than a few days take advantage of our cabin with a full kitchen.

The cabins and campground are more then just a place to lay your head. The lodge offers an internet lounge and gift shop so you can share your Alaskan adventures with all your family and friends. Relax on one of our beautiful wooden swings and take in the surrounding Alaska Range scenery. Enjoy local cuisine within walking distance or take a pleasent hike with ample opportunities to photograph stunning landscape and a range of local wildlife.

We want to offer our guests a location with the chance to visit Denali National Park without staying in the midst of the high traffic areas. Our family invites you to join us at Carlo Creek Lodge, a true hidden treasure nestled in the Alaska Range.
